Its Official, after Punjabi Lad Gul Panag's debut in Punjabi Cinema early this year with Sarsa, now Rangeelay brings Neha Dhupia to Punjabi Cinema, All credit goes to Jimmy Sheirgill.
This year Jimmy hasn't acted in any of Punjabi films but has been working behind the scenes as his production house Jimmy Sheirgill Productions produced Amrinder Gill, Rannvijay Singha starrer "Taur Mittran Di" and Rangeelay the next one stars Jimmy Sheirgill himself in the lead. Rangeelay is produced by Jimmy Sheirgill Productions & Eros International. Neha was coaxed into doing a Punjabi film by her good friend and co-star Jimmy Sheirgill.
Neha Confirmed, For the first time and for the love of cinema and, of course, for the love of Punjab, I signed a Punjabi film. Besides, Punjabi cinema is going places. "I'm basically going to play myself - a loud, boisterous girl who believes in romance! Fortunately, language is not going to be a problem as was the case with other vernacular films I've done."
Its great news for Punjabi Cinema lovers as upswing of Punjabi films are attracting prominent film personalities and we hopeful of many more to come
All eyes are now on Rangeelay shooting starts this month.
